Fabrication consultation and prototype repair for a featured concept design. This project was particularly difficult as there was a tight deadline and the nature of the work was a repair not fabrication. Although I had consulted on ow to complete the process, I was not involved in the initial fabrication. The prototype was made from vacuum-formed abs. In the process the object formed fins (from material folding) and thinned to a point of tearing. This repair required a lot of labor finessing the product until the object was ready for display. |
